The new Threadripper processors were also running great with Altair's OpenRadioss open-source software.

The Xeon CPUs were hitting the top marks when it came to the most power consumption.

The performance was stunning as well for the Threadripper 7970X and 7980X processors with the SPECFEM3D test cases.

For the Xmrig CPU miner the AMD CPUs were exhibiting strong leads over the Intel Xeon Sapphire Rapids processors tested.

The Xeon competition was putting up a strong fight for those making use of GROMACS, but still on a cost basis the Threadripper 7980X will likely prove to be much better value.
