Seagate FireCuda 520 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD Linux Performance
For the widely-used SQLite embedded database library, the CireCuda 520 edged out slightly in front of the Corsair Force MP600 SSDs to offer the fastest performance.
But when it comes to random reads using IO_uring with FIO, the Force MP600 drives were offering higher performance. But compared to the Samsung 960 EVO 500GB, the FireCuda 520 500GB had 33% more IOPS.
For random write performance, the FireCuda 520 did successfully outperform the Corsair Force MP600 drives on Linux.
Sequential read performance on the FireCuda 520 was surprisingly much lower than the other drives tested.
While for sequential write performance, the FireCuda 520 was just behind the 1TB Corsair Force MP600.
