For those considering a holiday time laptop upgrade, these benchmarks show just how far the AMD Ryzen laptop performance has evolved since 2020. And I'd certainly recommend going for the Ryzen 7040 series than anything on Zen 3/3+ or older.

Especially for workloads able to make use of AVX-512, the Zen 4 processors are a huge generational improvement.
