For those running a lot of Python scripts from your laptop, even there are some very nice performance improvements to find with Zen 4.

Timed Linux Kernel Compilation benchmark with settings of Build: defconfig. Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U was the fastest.

Or for those doing a lot of code compilation from your laptop, the Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U delivered much faster build times than the prior generation Ryzen laptops tested for this article.

Blender benchmark with settings of Blend File: BMW27, Compute: CPU-Only. Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U was the fastest.

There's also been significantly better performance for the Blender 3D modeling software performance on the ThinkPad P14s Gen 4.
