Shadow of the Tomb Raider benchmark with settings of Resolution: 2560 x 1440, Graphics Preset: Highest, Anti Aliasing: Off. RTX 4090 was the fastest.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is one of the few native Linux games that is modern and making use of Vulkan. Shadow of the Tomb Raider has been one of the latest Linux game ports by Feral Interactive. The Radeon RX 7900 XTX performance was matching the GeForce RTX 4080 on Linux at 1440p with the highest quality visuals while the GeForce RTX 4090 enjoyed around a 30% lead.

For Shadow of the Tomb Raider in this maxed out configuration the RTX 40 series managed to outpace the Radeon RX 7900 XTX for the best performance-per-Watt.

The Talos Principle benchmark with settings of Renderer: Vulkan, Resolution: 3840 x 2160. RTX 4090 was the fastest.

The Talos Principle as another Linux native game -- and the Vulkan API launch title -- was enjoying better performance on NVIDIA GPUs under Linux with the Radeon RX 7900 XTX performance only matching a GeForce RTX 3090.
