Windows 11 vs. Ubuntu Linux Performance On The Intel Core Ultra 7 Meteor Lake

Moving to more creator workloads, the open-source LuxCore renderer was showing strong leads with Ubuntu Linux on this Core Ultra 7 155H laptop compared to Windows 11. Not particularly surprising in general.

With the Kvazaar H.265 video encoder Linux was also consistently leading on this Meteor Lake laptop. However, when encoding 1080p content rather than 4K the performance tended to match between the two operating systems.

With Intel's Open Image Denoise library the performance was quite comparable between the two operating systems.
