Moving past the graphics tests, with the Firefox Speedometer benchmark switching to the performance EPP setting yielded a 21% improvement over the default (balanced) mode.

If wanting to maximize your laptop battery's life, the power saver mode did reduce the performance but led to the performance-per-Watt being much better than the two other EPP options. The Speedometer benchmark in the EPP powersaver mode led to an average power consumption of less than 3 Watts! Compared to the default mode having a 12 Watt SoC power or nearly 23 Watts for the performance EPP.

It was a pretty wild difference for the EPP power-saver mode too for Chrome if really wanting to use your laptop all day and doing a lot of web browsing.

The JetStream 2 browser benchmark was showing some nice improvements to performance for the EPP performance mode and really great power-savings in the EPP power-saver mode.

The power and performance impact of the EPP setting on the Intel Meteor Lake SoC was significantly greater than what I'm used to seeing with prior generation Intel processors.
