AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U "Rembrandt" Linux Laptop Benchmarks
When it comes to the CPU performance, in some single-threaded tests like the WireGuard secure VPN tunnel performance test the Alder Lake i7-1280P comes out ahead...
But the i7-1280P is pulling significantly more power than the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U even for basic tests like this WireGuard test case.
The simdjson test is another single-threaded test case of JSON parsing where the Alder Lake performance was ahead of Rembrandt, but when it came to power efficiency was behind the current AMD hardware.
In multi-threaded workloads it can be some tight competition between the i7-1280P with its 14 cores / 20 threads against the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U with 8 cores / 16 threads.
While in many multi-threaded workloads, the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U was performing much better than the Core i7 1280P and leading over the Intel competition in power efficiency.
