I ran nearly 200 benchmarks for helping to provide some reference numbers for the impact of the SNC adjustments on this HP Z6 G5 A workstation with AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7995WX.

Stockfish benchmark with settings of Total Time. SNC4 was the fastest.
asmFish benchmark with settings of 1024 Hash Memory, 26 Depth. SNC4 was the fastest.
Timed Gem5 Compilation benchmark with settings of Time To Compile. SNC4 was the fastest.
Timed Linux Kernel Compilation benchmark with settings of Build: defconfig. SNC4 was the fastest.
Timed Linux Kernel Compilation benchmark with settings of Build: allmodconfig. SNC4 was the fastest.
Timed LLVM Compilation benchmark with settings of Build System: Ninja. SNC2 was the fastest.
Timed LLVM Compilation benchmark with settings of Build System: Unix Makefiles. SNC4 was the fastest.
Timed Node.js Compilation benchmark with settings of Time To Compile. SNC4 was the fastest.

Running in SNC4 mode yielded the fastest build times for compiling software with this flagship Threadripper PRO 7000 series processor.
