One of the areas commonly seeing better performance on Linux 6.5+ with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme was the web browser benchmarks within both Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.

In some cases though the slightly better performance came at the cost of slightly higher CPU power use, in which case the performance-per-Watt was comparable to prior kernels.

It was a similar situation in both Chrome and Firefox on Linux.

JetStream 2 in Chrome was slightly faster on Linux 6.5+ for this AMD Ryzen powered handheld.

In cases like WebAssembly and Kraken there were also out-of-the-box slightly better performance on Linux 6.5+ while maintaining comparable CPU power use.
