The other Unigine tests were also showing how well the Arc Graphics A750/A770 were running with the Iris Gallium3D OpenGL driver against the AMD/NVIDIA competition. The Arc A770 could even outperform the RTX 3070 for OpenGL albeit we didn't see that with Vulkan and the modern Linux game tests.

The Xonotic and Unvanquished open-source game tests also showed very strong OpenGL performance for the Arc Graphics A770 and A750 graphics cards on Linux. The OpenGL performance was really strong in the A770 even being able to outpace the GeForce RTX 3070 in these few OpenGL tests. But it's 2022 and unfortunately not many modern Linux games run on OpenGL with Vulkan being increasingly relied upon.

But if you are running a lot of OpenGL workloads where the Arc Graphics A770/A750 are particularly strong, the competitive pricing of these graphics cards do make for a compelling option.

Based on the assortment of different OpenGL and Vulkan gaming tests conducted for today's launch day review, here is where things stand overall with the latest Linux drivers. Again, sadly no thermal / power data to share today with the Intel HWMON driver patches still pending.
