Intel Sapphire Rapids continues holding up strong for the HPCG benchmark and pounces out in front with Xeon Max (Sapphire Rapids HBM2e) as previously shown on Phoronix. The Xeon Platinum 8490H outpaced the Bergamo, Genoa, and Genoa-X CPUs except when running in power determinism mode.

On a performance-per-Watt basis, the EPYC 9654 Genoa and EPYC 9754 Bergamo processors were delivering the best results.
