System76 Pangolin Makes For A Nice All-AMD Linux Laptop
For the integrated graphics performance, the Radeon 680M performs very well with the Pangolin and even comes out ahead of the Radeon graphics with the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U laptop and also being stronger than the Intel Gen12 integrated graphics in the Alder Lake laptop tested.
On a SoC performance per Watt basis, the default behavior of the Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen3 was tuned for a more power-savings experience so while it was slightly slower in raw performance it did jump out ahead when it came to CPU power savings.
The System76 Pangolin was warmer than the X1 Carbon Gen3 during the Linux gaming tests but cooler than the HP Dev One.
