AMD Radeon With Linux 6.1 + Mesa 23.0-dev vs. NVIDIA R525 Gaming Performance

Grand Theft Auto V on Steam Play continues working well with the latest NVIDIA and AMD Linux drivers. The Intel graphics encounter an oddity with failing to initialize Rockstar's Social Club at launch with their current driver state. With this Mesa 23.0-devel RADV benchmarking though it shows the open-source Radeon driver still has more room to optimize against the NVIDIA GeForce Linux gaming performance.

While the Radeon Linux performance was coming up short for Grand Theft Auto 5, with HITMAN 3 as another Steam Play game is a great example of the open-source Radeon stack performing very competitively against the NVIDIA competition.
