Unigine Heaven reinforced the Intel Arc Graphics strong performance when making use of OpenGL on Linux... The Arc Graphics A750/A770 cards with the Iris Gallium3D driver was performing very fine with the Linux 6.2 + Mesa 23.1-devel combination. In raw performance with Unigine Heaven the A770 was able to run neck-and-neck with the Radeon RX 6700 XT.

On a performance-per-Watt basis the Intel Arc Graphics were competitive to the AMS RDNA2 cards. Too bad though the Unigine engine doesn't enjoy more widespread use.

Across a range of visual settings, the Intel Arc Graphics A750/A770 performance was very strong for the Unigine Superposition benchmark too. Intel's open-source OpenGL driver is in great shape as shown by the GL tests in this article but it's at a time where many games have moved past OpenGL and where Steam Play is primarily relying upon Vulkan usage.

The Intel Arc Graphics A750/A770 power consumption was above that of the Radeon RX 6700 XT but at least was performing very well with the Unigine OpenGL benchmarks.
