Corsair Vengeance 12GB DDR3-1600MHz
In terms of common Linux desktop workloads when comparing the CSX and Corsair memory kits, the results aren't too interesting for real-world performance.
Aside from these quantitative performance results, I have been very happy with the Corsair 12GB Vengeance DDR3-1600MHz kits that I have purchased to date. I have yet to run into any stability issues pertaining to this RAM, there is obviously no Linux compatibility issues, the memory is backed by a lifetime warranty, the performance is great, the tons of Corsair memory I have tested and reviews over the years have been dependable, and the sub-$90 USD price point for this 12GB (3 x 4GB) kit is a respectable deal compared to other DDR3 triple-channel memory offerings.
