Obviously in the synthetic open-source memory benchmarks, most of them continued scaling to DDR4-3800 nicely though in cases like some of the RAMspeed runs the DDR4-3800 performance came in slower than DDR4-3600 due to higher latencies past DDR4-3733.

But as you can see, the Ryzen 9 3900X memory scaling performance goes up nicely at least through DDR4-3600 for almost any memory sensitive workload.

Certainly if you can afford it, getting DDR4-3600~3733 will pair nicely with the new AMD Ryzen 3000 series desktop processors. That's at least for synthetic memory tests, now let's look at some real-world numbers.
